ความร้อนของ PC ที่สูงขึ้น เป็นเหตุสังเกตได้ เมื่อมีการรายงานว่า ตัว launcher ของ Epic Games Store ดันเกิดบั๊คขึ้นมาเสียอย่างนั้น มันทำให้อุณหภูมิของเครื่อง PC สูงขึ้น เนื่องจากตัว launcher นั้นกินทรัพยากร CPU อย่างมหาศาล ถึงแม้จะมีการออกแพทช์มาแก้ไข แต่มันก็ไม่ใช่ทางออก เพราะตัว PC ก็ยังคงมีความร้อนสูงขึ้นถึงแม้จะไม่ได้เรียกใช้งาน Epic Games Store ก็ตาม
